On 25 April 2019, the second Summit Forum on International Cooperation was successfully held in Beijing. On the ground of the Digital Silk Road Sub-Forum, the signing of the contract by Zhang Changwu, Chief Executive Officer of Blue Arrow Aerospace, and Mr. Tristan Laurent, Vice President of Open Cosmos, UK, and Mr. Luca Rossettini, Chief Executive Officer of D-Orbit, Italy, marked the formal conclusion of the partnership.

 

The second Summit Forum on International Cooperation, as China's most important home-floor diplomacy this year, has become the largest cooperation platform in the world.

 

Landspace and Britain, Italy Open Cosmos, D-Orbit signed projects involving the launch of cubic stars, in-orbit delivery, and the total amount of contracts over RMB100 million. Follow-up Landspace will be in accordance with the relevant regulations of the State to go through the application procedures, and relevant launch service contract compliance work. The cooperation marks the completion of the commercial closed-loop of the entire chain of R & D, marketing and launch services for Blue Arrow space.

 

Landspace will provide launch services for the cubic star cluster developed by Open Cosmos, and will jointly provide a highly integrated engineering package for the Chinese and British commercial space markets by integrating space technology services such as cubic development and launch.

 

Italian D-Orbit will use the "Chu Chi Chi" series carrier rocket developed by the Blue Arrow spacecraft to provide a one-stop commercial launch solution covering multiple engineering services for the cubic intelligent distribution system developed by the former.

The 80-ton liquid oxygen methane engine developed by Blue Arrow is now in the commissioning stage of its final assembly and whole system, and the first flight of the launch vehicle, the Chu Qi-2, is expected to take place in 2020.
