China Zhongji Investment's poverty alleviation and education assistance in Zhangjiakou

On August 28, some employee representatives from China Zhongji Investment Company went to Dong Baimaying Village, Yangyuan County, Zhangjiakou City to carry out a "Love Poverty Alleviation and Aid to Education" activity and visited the villagers.

After arriving at Dong Baimaying Village, the personnel from China Zhongji Investment Company, with the assistance of the Hebei Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce's village work team, first held a "Love Poverty Alleviation and Aid to Education Ceremony" with representatives from Dongbao Township, impoverished students, and villagers. The ceremony was presided over by Chen Keqin, deputy director of the Personnel Department of the Hebei Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce and a member of the Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce's work team stationed in Yangyuan Dong Baimaying Village. Zhang Xueping, deputy head of Dongfangchengbao Township, Yangyuan County, Hebei Province, on behalf of the township government, and Zhang Yanmei, director of the Member Affairs Department of the Hebei Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce and the first secretary of the Hebei Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce stationed in Baimaying Village, respectively, welcomed the personnel from China Zhongji Investment Company.

Tan Yujun, Managing Director of China Zhongji Investment Company, delivered a speech on behalf of China Zhongji Investment Company. She first expressed her sincere gratitude to the Hebei Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce, the Yangyuan County Government, the Dongbao Township Government, and Dong Baimaying Village for their strong support in the activity. Tan said that carrying out poverty alleviation and aid to education is not only a heartfelt concern for impoverished children, but also a concern for education, preventing the intergenerational transmission of poverty. This is crucial and has a profound impact on winning the battle against poverty. She encouraged impoverished students to remain confident, self-reliant, diligent in their studies, improve their quality, hone their skills, and strive to become talented individuals who contribute to the country and society. She also stated that China Zhongji Investment Company will continue to pay attention to impoverished students, and will continue to carry out poverty alleviation and aid to education activities for a long time, treating caring aid for education as a cause to promote traditional virtues and carry forward corporate culture, fulfilling corporate social responsibility with practical actions.

Afterwards, Tan Yujun and Yang Xiaoying, Managing Directors of China Zhongji Investment Company, and Liu Yong, head of the Human Resources and Administration Center, awarded poverty alleviation and education funds donated by China Zhongji Investment Company to three outstanding impoverished students, and donated learning materials to several other impoverished students.

After the caring aid to education ceremony, under the guidance of the village work team, the personnel from China Zhongji Investment Company also visited and comforted the five-guaranteed households and impoverished families in the village, delivering rice, flour, cooking oil, daily necessities, and other relief supplies worth nearly 10,000 yuan to each household. They encouraged everyone to build confidence in overcoming life's difficulties and work hard to improve their production and living environment.

In recent years, the Party and the government have increased the efforts to combat poverty. The report of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China proposed that we should "mobilize the strength of the whole Party, the whole country, and the whole society" and "resolutely win the battle against poverty." On July 30, with the strong support of Rongsheng Development, Hebei Qianxihe Food Co., Ltd., Yangyuan Zhireng, and Junlebao, etc., China Zhongji Investment initiated the establishment of the Zhongji Poverty Alleviation Fund, to serve Hebei Province's poverty alleviation cause more efficiently and sustainably in a professional manner.
