On March 17, 2021, Suiyuan Technology, a cloud computing platform focusing on artificial intelligence, and the Zhijiang Laboratory signed an agreement to establish the "Suiyuan-Zhijiang Artificial Intelligence Chip Joint Research Center" at the Zhijiang Laboratory's Nanhu New Park. Through this strategic cooperation, both parties will leverage their respective strengths to provide technology, platforms, and talent for the development of the digital economy, providing strong support for the creation of a national digital economy innovation development pilot zone and the building of a new intelligent computing center. Suiyuan Technology, a leading domestic AI large chip company in both the artificial intelligence and integrated circuit fields, has years of R&D and mass production experience in the chip industry. Established on September 6, 2017, the Zhijiang Laboratory is located in the core area of Hangzhou's West City Science and Technology Innovation Corridor. It is a major scientific and technological innovation platform established by the Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government to deeply implement the innovation-driven development strategy and explore a Zhejiang path for a new national system. With the goal of "building a national strategic scientific and technological force," the laboratory is primarily sponsored by the Zhejiang Provincial People's Government and operates under a "one body, two cores, multiple points" structure.
