It will independently research and produce complete sets of high-end medical imaging equipment and core components, surgical robots, wearable medical devices, and other advanced medical equipment, focusing on the diagnosis and treatment of major and difficult diseases. It will also coordinate upstream and downstream industrial resources, aiming to promote the independent and controllable development of the entire medical imaging industry chain.
At the same time, United Imaging Intelligence's Wuhan branch and UIHCloud United Imaging Cloud headquarters are also located here. This part of the business will integrate cutting-edge technologies such as AI, 5G, cloud computing, and the mobile internet, promoting the expansion and balanced layout of medical resources through industrial intelligence and digital upgrades. In addition, United Imaging will continue to promote the "government-industry-academia-research-medicine" integrated innovation system, focusing on upgrading the entire innovation chain from basic research to clinical application, medical transformation, and industrial transformation.

In the field of high-end medical enterprises, United Imaging focuses on medical imaging business and carries out research on "stuck neck" technologies. According to Chu Xu, President of the Power Device Business Unit of United Imaging Medical, through independent innovation, more than 90% of the core components in high-end medical imaging equipment can be independently developed and mass-produced. Among them, nuclear magnetic resonance has basically achieved complete domestic production.
In the field of industry-academia-research cooperation, United Imaging, Wuhan City, and the Institute of Physics and Mathematics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences jointly invested in the establishment of the "Wuhan Zhongke Medical Technology Industrial Technology Research Institute". According to the construction plan, the institute will be built into an innovative institution and a professional field incubation service platform connecting "basic medical research, high-tech medical equipment R&D, and clinical diagnosis and treatment", serving as an open platform for third parties.
