China Zhongji Investment's portfolio company, United Imaging Intelligence, has received approval for its IPO registration on the STAR Market.


On the evening of July 19, 2022, the website of the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) issued a reply agreeing to the registration of the initial public offering (IPO) of Shanghai United Imaging Medical Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "United Imaging") on the STAR Market, approving United Imaging's application for the IPO and listing on the STAR Market.
 

 
Founded in 2011, United Imaging is a leading medical technology company committed to providing global customers with high-end medical imaging equipment, radiation therapy products, life science instruments, and intelligent medical solutions covering the entire process of imaging diagnosis and treatment. Main products include magnetic resonance imaging systems (MR/MRI), X-ray computed tomography systems (CT), X-ray imaging systems (XR), molecular imaging systems (PET/CT, PET/MR), radiation therapy systems (RT), and life science instruments.
 
United Imaging plans to raise 12.48 billion yuan in this IPO, which will be used for next-generation product R&D projects, high-end medical imaging equipment industrialization fund projects, information technology improvement projects, and supplementing working capital. This will further support the company's scale and global development, expand the company's high-end medical imaging equipment production capacity, accelerate product and technology upgrades, expand market share, and help the company become a world-leading medical innovation leader.
 

 
In 2019, China Zhongji Investment completed its investment in United Imaging. In 2022, United Imaging became another IPO project approved by China Zhongji Investment this year, following Haiguang Information. As a company covering the full range of high-end medical imaging equipment, United Imaging, through continuous high-intensity R&D investment and overcoming high-end medical imaging technologies, has successfully broken the decades-long monopoly of foreign companies such as GE, Philips, and Siemens in the Chinese market. After entering the capital market, it is believed that United Imaging will leverage its technological advantages to continuously improve its domestic market share, actively explore overseas markets, and become a continuously innovative, global medical equipment R&D and innovation enterprise.
