Dalian Rongke joins hands with Vanadium Titanium Corporation to promote the commercialization of vanadium battery energy storage.
On October 10, 2022, Dalian Rongke Energy Group Co., Ltd. (“Dalian Rongke”) and Panzhihua Iron and Steel Group Vanadium-Titanium Resources Co., Ltd. (“Vanadium Titanium”) jointly established Sichuan Vanadium Rong Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (“Sichuan Vanadium Rong”), focusing on the research and development, large-scale production, market sales, and leasing of all-vanadium redox flow battery electrolytes.

Vanadium Titanium was established on March 27, 1993, and listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange on November 15, 1996 (stock code: 000629). As the world's largest vanadium producer, Vanadium Titanium possesses a full range of vanadium products and a series of advanced production and R&D technologies, enjoying significant resource, industrial, and brand advantages.
Dalian Rongke, a global leader in the all-vanadium redox flow battery energy storage industry, has made significant breakthroughs in technology R&D, system design, and engineering applications. After 10 years of dedicated cultivation, it has built a concentric industrial group covering all-vanadium redox flow battery technological innovation, key materials, and energy storage equipment manufacturing, becoming an industry leader with full-industry chain development capabilities, independent intellectual property rights, and high-end manufacturing capabilities. In the second half of 2021, China Zhongji Investment completed an equity investment in Dalian Rongke.
This strong alliance effectively integrates Dalian Rongke's technological advantages with Vanadium Titanium's resource advantages, representing a significant step in implementing the strategic agreement signed in September 2021 and a crucial move in promoting the large-scale development of all-vanadium redox flow battery energy storage. The joint venture will also explore innovative business models such as non-steel market vanadium raw material pricing and electrolyte leasing, accelerating the commercialization of all-vanadium redox flow batteries, contributing to China's dual-carbon goals and the construction of a new power system based primarily on new energy.
Currently, both parties have completed the preliminary work of feasibility studies and design for the electrolyte production line and are actively promoting the construction of the production line to meet the rapidly growing market demand.
