Setting sail! Hebei Province Biomanufacturing Industry Alliance officially established
On October 27, 2022, the Hebei Provincial Biomanufacturing Industry Development Conference, hosted by the Hebei Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, was held at the Zhengding International Convention and Exhibition Center in Shijiazhuang. At the conference, the Hebei Provincial Biomanufacturing Industry Alliance (hereinafter referred to as the "Alliance") was officially established. China Zhongji Investment, as a member of the alliance, will continue to provide financial support and industrial services to innovative enterprises in the industry.
At the conference, Tan Tianwei, President of Beijing University of Chemical Technology and academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, delivered a keynote report. The Alliance signed strategic cooperation agreements with multiple parties, including the Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, Zhengding County Government, Hebei Academy of Sciences Bio-institute, and Zhongke Leading (Beijing) High-tech Co., Ltd.
Approximately 100 people attended the meeting, including leaders from the guiding units of the Hebei Provincial Biomanufacturing Industry Alliance—the Provincial Development and Reform Commission, Provincial Department of Education, Provincial Department of Science and Technology, Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment, Provincial Health Commission, Provincial Drug Administration, Shijiazhuang City, Zhengding County, alliance partner companies, chairman units, vice chairman units, and member units.
The Hebei Provincial Biomanufacturing Industry Alliance is the first biomanufacturing industry alliance established in China. In the future, the alliance will accelerate the aggregation of elements using a "technology + finance" model, play a bridging role, promote government-enterprise interaction, organize business negotiations, summits, forums, and exhibitions, strengthen cooperation between upstream and downstream of the industrial chain, promote the incubation and transformation of scientific and technological achievements, optimize the industrial ecosystem by attracting talents, and accelerate the construction of Hebei's modern biomanufacturing industry system.
