The National Next-Generation Open Innovation Platform for Intelligent Transportation Vehicle Perception and the OpenI Qizhi Community signed a strategic cooperation memorandum.
On February 24th, at the OpenI/O Qizhi Developer Conference held in Shenzhen, the new generation of artificial intelligence open-source platform (OpenI Qizhi Community) signed a strategic cooperation memorandum with nine national new-generation artificial intelligence open innovation platforms. This cooperation is of great significance in strengthening open-source and policy guidance, and building an open and collaborative artificial intelligence technological innovation system. Wisdom Interconnection Technology Co., Ltd. (“Wisdom Interconnection”), as the supporting construction enterprise of the national new-generation artificial intelligence open innovation platform for intelligent transportation vehicle state perception, participated in the signing ceremony. Xiang Yanping, a machine intelligence scientist at Wisdom Interconnection, represented the signing.
The national new-generation artificial intelligence open innovation platform (national open innovation platform) is certified by the Ministry of Science and Technology. It is undertaken by influential artificial intelligence enterprises in the industry, with each platform undertaking unit playing a leading role in the industry. They need to have a certain degree of openness, open-source, and sharing spirit, and be able to promote the construction of China's artificial intelligence ecosystem.
In July 2022, Wisdom Interconnection was selected by the Ministry of Science and Technology to support the construction of the "National New Generation Artificial Intelligence Open Innovation Platform (Intelligent Transportation Vehicle State Perception)", becoming one of the 23 national-level artificial intelligence innovation platforms nationwide, including Baidu, Alibaba, Tencent, and Huawei.
The new generation of artificial intelligence open-source platform (OpenI Qizhi Community) is the first domestic artificial intelligence open-source community. Its establishment aims to promote the rapid development of artificial intelligence open-source in China. Under the leadership of the Ministry of Science and Technology, the OpenI Qizhi Community, as a new generation of artificial intelligence industry technology innovation strategic alliance, organizes domestic artificial intelligence research forces, including scientific research institutions and enterprises, in the form of an open-source community. It hopes to form a relatively unified resource complementarity and gather various R&D and industrial forces in the implementation of the national new generation of artificial intelligence, creating an open-source and open platform.
According to the strategic cooperation memorandum, the OpenI Qizhi Community and various national open innovation platforms will establish a good communication mechanism. Both platforms will actively synchronize their current status and future development plans for closer collaboration. Open-source projects in various national open innovation platforms will prioritize the OpenI Qizhi Community for the open-source code hosting and operation and maintenance of their related businesses, open-source projects, and open-source communities. The OpenI Qizhi Community should provide a continuous and stable development environment for open-source projects in various national open innovation platforms.
In addition, various national open innovation platforms will actively participate in various activities jointly organized by the OpenI Qizhi Community, including but not limited to industry summits, development activities (such as hackathons), small developer salons, and expert interviews. The OpenI Qizhi Community will also provide various support for project incubation for open-source projects in various national open innovation platforms, including but not limited to project organization construction guidance, promotion of high-quality projects, and developer incentives. Various national open innovation platforms will also actively participate in industry development reports and various related publications initiated by the OpenI Qizhi Community.
