On June 30, 2023, Mengzhimo's first global flexible circuit board additive manufacturing mass production demonstration factory—Xiamen Roumo Electronic Technology Co., Ltd.—held its completion and commissioning ceremony in Anren Industrial Park, Jimei District, Xiamen City, Fujian Province. This marks the completion of the technical verification phase of Mengzhimo's "circuit board-level electronic additive manufacturing" in the FPC product direction, achieving mass production and successfully taking the first step in its global layout.

Mengzhimo General Manager Chen Baiwei introduced that since its establishment, Mengzhimo has been focusing on the research and development of technologies in various aspects related to electronic additive manufacturing, including materials, processes, and applications. Through continuous investment and persistent exploration, it has built a unique "material-process-product" integrated technical route, pioneering the "circuit board-level electronic additive manufacturing" technology.
The company has formulated a "2030 plan," which will be completed in three phases. The first phase, from 2023 to 2025, will see the company's steady development and a doubling of revenue. The second phase, from 2025 to 2027, will focus on the rapid replication and expansion of disruptive process technologies. The third phase, from 2027 to 2030, aims to achieve tens of billions of yuan in revenue. Xiamen Roumo is the first flexible circuit board production base based on additive manufacturing technology completed in Mengzhimo's 2030 development plan. With a construction area of approximately 2300 square meters, the overall planned capacity is 60,000 square meters per month. Currently, the first-phase capacity construction has been completed, with a monthly production capacity of 30,000 square meters.
Chen Baiwei stated that Mengzhimo is the first technology company globally to achieve industrialization of "circuit board-level electronic additive manufacturing" technology.
As a company focusing on the research and development and application of "circuit board-level electronic additive manufacturing" technology, Mengzhimo relies on the strong technical strength of the Chinese Academy of Sciences Institute of Physical and Chemical Technology and Tsinghua University. Through innovation in underlying patterned materials and process coupling, it has built a green and simple production and processing model for flexible circuit boards and has been the first in the world to achieve industrialization of electronic additive manufacturing technology.
In June 2020, China Zhongji Investment completed the A+ round investment in Mengzhimo.
