Xinhua News Agency: The China-Hebei Poverty Alleviation Foundation is established
On July 30, a video conference on the "Thousand Enterprises Helping Thousand Villages" precision poverty alleviation campaign was held in Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province. The conference also held an unveiling ceremony for the Hebei-Central China Poverty Alleviation Foundation and a signing ceremony for poverty alleviation projects. The conference was chaired by Liu Jinsong, chairman of the Hebei Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce. Xie Jingrong, vice chairman of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, and Gao Zhili, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Hebei Provincial Committee and head of the United Front Work Department, attended the meeting and unveiled the Hebei-Central China Poverty Alleviation Foundation. Tan Yujun, managing director of China Zhongji Investment Co., Ltd., represented China Zhongji Investment Co., Ltd. at the meeting.
The Hebei-Central China Poverty Alleviation Foundation was initiated and established under the guidance of the Hebei Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce by China Zhongji Investment Co., Ltd. The foundation's purpose is to leverage the power of private capital, unite social organizations and non-public economic personnel within Hebei Province, jointly assume social responsibility, and support poverty alleviation in key areas such as industrial poverty alleviation, education poverty alleviation, employment poverty alleviation, and public welfare poverty alleviation. It aims to provide more efficient and sustainable services to Hebei Province's precision poverty alleviation cause through professional operation, helping Hebei Province achieve its poverty alleviation goals. The fund-raising target is 100 million yuan, sourced from global Hebei businessmen and private enterprises and individuals within Hebei Province who are committed to the poverty alleviation cause.
